Minecraft | The End
The End is a barren, empty world in Minecraft. It consists of a one large island and a few smaller floating islands.
They are made up of a unique block called End Stone. Scattered around the island are large obsidian pillars with varying heights. On top of them are blocks that look much like enchanting tables with burning cubes on them.
These cubes, called Ender Crystals, can be hit or shot with an arrow and will blow up like one block of TNT. The area around the end is air with a static look much like the void. The end consist of only two mobs, one is enderman which make moving around difficult because there is such an abundance of them. The other mob is the Enderdragon, considered the mob boss of Minecraft, the Enderdragon is a large dragon resembling enderman. The Enderdragon has 100x Hearts, making him very difficult to kill, especially when he is constantly healing. Using a bow and arrows is the best way to kill them.
To get to the End, you must first kill enderman to get Ender Pearls. Combine these with magma cream to get Eye Of Ender. Right clicking with these in your hand will have them fly out in the direction of a strong hold. When you eventually find the strong hold, you must explore it and find an end portal. The portal will be broken and will need repair. To repair it you must right click on empty End Portal Frame to make it active. Once they are all filled the portal will appear in the middle. To enter just JUMP IN!!!
The end, like the Nether, has no time specifications or spawns point. In other words compasses, clocks, maps and beds do not work. Like in the nether, beds will explode when you try to sleep in them. Also portals to the Nether will not work either.
To defeat the Enderdragon, it is recommended to destroy the Ender Crystals first and then attack the Dragon. It is very difficult to defeat the Dragon, even with multiple people. When killed, he will pixilate into the air and a large glowing light will appear and flash. This resembles the death of the dragon in Skyrim. The dragon will drop hundreds of XP orbs, equaling about 60 levels of XP. Where the Enderdragon was, a bedrock shrine will arise with end portal inside of them. On top of it is an black egg, called and Enderegg. As of now it has no use but it can be collected by forcing it against a block with a piston. When hit it will teleport a few blocks away, but not farther than you can see.
Once the enderdragon is defeated and you go back through the portal, credits for the game of Minecraft appear. That does not mean that the map is over, just an ending. You will return to your end portal, or spawn point.
Now that you have defeated the End Dragon, go have fun, enchant some items and come join MONCRAFT!!!
