Minecraft items

 

In Minecraft we have a lot of items the first ones is blocks. Blocks are made for building and decorating. You can’t do so much with them you can only build with them. You can make and find a lot of blocks in minecraft.

The blocks you will find the most of is dirt, grass, stone (when mined you get cobble) and wood. From these materials you can create items, tools and other blocks. When we find blocks we can find a lot of ore types like coal, iron, gold, redstone, lapis lazuli and diamond.

Some of the ore you mine you will get the items directly and some of the ore you need to smelt in a furnace like iron and gold. With an enchant called silk touch you can mine blocks and you will get the ore you mined. For example you mined diamond ore but you get the ore itself not the diamond, or you destroy a glass block and you get the glass block, it will not get destroyed. Next are tools, there are 4 kinds of tools in minecraft: sword, pickaxe, axe, and hoe. You can make tools out of 5 things: wood, cobblestone, iron, gold and diamond.

Let’s start with wood. Wood is the worst material you can make tools of and it is the first thing you make tools of. You can only mine coal ore and stone with it. With the axe it doesn’t really matter you can still chop wood but it takes the longest time to chop with.

The sword doesn’t really matter too; the worse the material is the less damage it does and the faster it breaks. And what the hoe made of doesn’t really matter; the only difference is how fast it breaks.

Then we have stone, stone pickaxes can mine iron and everything the wooden pickaxe can and its harder to destroy plus it mines the blocks faster. Iron pickaxe can mine gold, redstone, lapis, coal and diamond and harder to destroy and mine blocks faster.

The golden tool gets broken very fast but they are more effective. And last but not least we have the diamond tools they are the best tools, they mine very fast, takes very long time to get broken and the diamond pickaxe can mine obsidian. In minecraft there are bows too. They are not really tools but it’s a weapon. In minecraft there is only one type of bow. Bows need arrows to shoot with; you can make them by yourself or get from skeletons. We can enchant tools and weapons in minecraft. We need to use the enchantment table to do it. When you kill mobs and other players you get experience. With it you can make your tools and weapons better by using the enchantment table. When you have enchanted, you lose your levels.

You can make potions in minecraft.
You need a brewing stand to do that. There are a lot of potions types like: Instant heal, instant damage, speed potion, regeneration potion and more. To make them you need to make 1 of the 4 main potions. For example awkward potion. Then you add the ingredients you need to the potion and it’s done. You can also upgrade the potions by adding redstone or glowstone dust.

Then we have food.
You need to eat food or you will die like in real life. When you sprint you will get hungry. When you have 6 or less hunger bars left you will not be able to sprint. You can get food from animals like pigs, cows and chickens. You can also get food from zombies and spiders but you get a bad effect from them after you have eaten their food. Like if you eat rotten flesh (zombies food) you get an effect that affects your hunger bar and you get more hungry, and if you eat spider eye you will lose some of your health bar.

When you eat food you will not heal yourself except golden apples, they will heal you. If your food bar is full your health bar regenerates automatically. Before update 1.8 there was no food bars and food healed the health bar.

Some of the food you can cook in a furnace for example pork it will restore more food bars if it is cooked. From endermen you get ender pearls that you can throw and it teleports you there it landed. We have also other stuff but you need to discover it by yourself.
