Is it possible to spawn items in minecraft directly to your inventory?
I’m running a small Minecraft server for a few friends and trying to develop a few secret areas without them knowing I’m spawning items to build places. Is there any way to spawn an item directly into my inventory, without the message coming up that says “(User: Giving some 237″)?
That completely gives me away. I know the inventory has certain slot numbers, but I’m just unaware of how to designate items being put there.

Assuming you have hey0′s mod. Open up console using t. Type /item (or /give) [item id] [quantity] [name]
Eg: /item dirt 5 user529
If the quantity is left blank you will get 1
If the user is left blank it will be given to you
You can find the id’s on the minepedia
If you don’t have hey0′s admin mod, get it.

me and my friends have a hamachi server running fine and are making a city. so i was wondering how can any player spawn an item /give permission to people or do i have to mod ? if so please link me to mod. so they can spawn anything on demand

Your going to want to use commands look up the list on google or watch a tutorial on youtube they are typed in the Speech box you can also get mods to do this in single player.
